Chills: on the Appalachian Trail” is one of three books in the Appalachian Series. It is based upon the author’s experiences backpacking the Burkes Garden section of the Appalachian Trail alone. The second book “Shadows: on the Appalachian Trail is about her encounters backpacking the Mount Rogers section of the Appalachian Trail where the wild ponies roam. It is expected to be published fall of 2015.
